Russia has received yet another vote of displeasure

Russia has received yet another vote of displeasure after Brazil international Hulk claimed that there is some form of racism in almost every game in this region of the world.

Russia has been criticised immensely for its failure to control racism. A number of black players who have represented Russian Premier League clubs have been abused by their own supporters. The likes of Samuel Eto’o and Christopher Samba have been some of the recent names. Hulk is a star name in the league but that does not appear to prevent him from suffering abuse.

The Brazilian has once again raised the voice against Russia, which has already received a lot of negative press.

FIFA, though, seems committed in its decision to award the European nation with the rights to host the World Cup 2018.

Russian president Vladimir Putin recently said that Sepp Blatter, who has promised to step down amidst corruption allegations, should be given Noble peace prize for the work he has done since becoming the president in 1998.

Meanwhile, World Cup organizing committee CEO Alexei Sorokin says that the organisation are quite aware of the racism problem in Russia, but he says that it is something that affects almost every country around the world.

“If [racism] happens in the World Cup, it will be really gross and really ugly. Usually it happens when Russian clubs play and it doesn’t come out to the world and the world doesn’t know about this. I must say that almost every game I see this happening. I used to get angry, but now I see this doesn’t help, so I just send a kiss to our fans and try not to get angry,” said Hulk. “We quite naturally acknowledge the problem that clearly does not exist only in Russia, but many other countries,” said Sorokin.
